Shopping: The Gates of Prosper have all your basic shopping needs covered and some great places to grab a bite when you're done. You'll also find family-friendly events on their calendar.
 

The Town of Prosper also offers a wide range of activities and events. Classes and programs are listed on their website and includes cooking, tennis, painting, Zumba, and yoga classes. Throughout the year, several community events are planned as well as competitions and challenges to bring the community together. Prosper is nearby to several attractions, and less than a thirty minute drive will take you to Dallas. Dallas is not short of fun experiences and things to do. A few popular attractions in Dallas include the Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Gardens, The Perot Museum, The Dallas World Aquarium, and The Dallas Zoo.



Outdoor Recreation

Kids Activities

An activity in Prosper for the kids would be Frontier Park. Equipped with play areas, splash pads, and space for sports activities, Frontier Park is a great place for children. 

The town of Prosper also offers a wide range of children’s activities and classes. These activities include but are not limited to soccer camps, archery, piano, cooking, and tennis.

Prosper Youth Sports Association is a non-profit your sports association supported by volunteers. Mission: To instill in the youth of our community, the ideas of fair play, sportsmanship, honesty, and leadership through fellowship. The PYSA will provide a program model to develop athletic skills and create a spirit of healthy competition, stressing teamwork, and individual sacrifice.



Select Neighborhoods

Windsong Ranch is a growing, award-winning community on the west side. Thanks to its proximity to the Dallas North Tollway, it's a 20-minute drive to most of the Dallas metropolitan area. It's also ideally located between Denton and the increasingly popular McKinney and Frisco areas.

The community is laid out over 2,000 acres, which includes 600 acres of green space and amenities. It's expected to have 3,500 homes when complete, with four schools and several major retailers at the main entrance.

Star Trail is a beautiful, master-planned community located on the north end of the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex. This growing neighborhood features a collection of luxurious homes designed by an all-star line-up of the area's most popular builders. Over 1,800 homesites are planned for Star Trail's 900 acres of residential space, and the community boasts a long list of amenities as well.

Lakes of Prosper is a semi-rural community in Prosper, Texas. Located a short drive away from the intersection of highways 289 and 380, Lakes of Prosper is 2 miles from downtown Prosper, around 14 miles from downtown McKinney and approximately 37 from downtown Dallas. Residents of this peaceful neighborhood enjoy the spacious lots, verdant lawns, and picturesque lakes of the community itself. Community-adjacent Frontier Park is easily accessible, along with a wealth of dining, shopping, and entertainment options available throughout the suburbs north of Dallas.

Gentle Creek Estates is an upscale community nestled around the Gentle Creek Golf Club in Prosper, Texas. This community spans 630 acres and features luxurious and modern single-family homes with golf course views, as well as top-notch amenities surrounded by natural woods and lakes. Gentle Creek Estates is also near the Dallas North Tollway and US 380, allowing residents to easily travel to Dallas and Frisco for additional big-city entertainment and attractions.
