Frisco has been dubbed, "Sports City, USA" home of the following sports:The Star is a 91-acre campus of the Dallas Cowboys World Headquarters and practice facility. The Star has a unique partnership with the City of Frisco and the Frisco ISD, which allows the fans to connect with the Dallas Cowboys in a way you won't find anywhere else.Another unique sports facility is the Toyota Stadium and Toyota Soccer Center. Toyota Stadium is the home stadium for FC Dallas and hosts the FCS title game, the DXL Frisco Bowl as well a variety of concerts, tournaments, and other events. The National Soccer Hall of Fame (NSHOF) opened in Toyota Stadium's south end in 2018 as part of a more than $55 million renovation to the facility. The NSHOF is a public-private partnership among FC Dallas, the City of Frisco, Frisco Independent School District, and U.S. Soccer Federation.The PGA of America is moving its headquarters from Palm Beach County, Florida, to Frisco, Texas, anchoring a 600-acre, mixed-use development with an initial investment worth more than half a billion dollars. "Our move to Frisco will be transcendent for the PGA of America," said Seth Waugh, CEO, PGA of America. "Everything great starts with a dream. This is the beginning of a bold, new journey as we bring together world-class partners in a world-class location – to deliver innovative and differentiated experiences for our nearly 29,000 PGA Golf Professionals, golfers of all abilities, and our staff."The NHL Dallas Stars. "The Dallas Stars have grown right along with the city of Frisco," said Jason Farris. "When we came to Texas in 1993, people were confused. Hockey in Texas? Since we came to Frisco in 2001 and established ourselves at Dr Pepper Arena (Comerica Center), we've grown — and interest in hockey has grown — by leaps and bounds."The Texas Legends, the Gatorade League affiliate of the NBA Dallas Mavericks, have called Frisco home since the team first formed in 2009. "We pride ourselves on not just being in the community, but instead, truly investing and becoming a part of the community," said Malcolm Farmer.The Frisco RoughRiders, a Class A.A. affiliate of the Texas Rangers. "We've become a year-round fixture in the community," said Greenberg. "We're an entertainment and events company that also happens to play some great minor league baseball."
